Welcome to Courtney's Getaway
Our tiny house, listed on Airbnb, is available for short term rentals when visiting Dripping Springs, Texas, 25 miles southwest of Austin. Courtney's Getaway is on a quiet, rural, private horse farm, about three miles from downtown Dripping Springs, and only 2.9 miles from popular wedding venue, Camp Lucy. The house is available for 1 to 28 day-stays. Snacks, coffe, tea, and simple breakfast food are provided.
What's to do in Dripping Springs?
We're only about three miles from downtown Dripping Springs. You're find wineries, brew pubs, trendy restaurants, hiking, biking and horseback riding at Reimers Ranch and Pedernales State Park, swimming and hiking at Hamilton Pool, DS Ranch Park (public arena used for large public events, barrel races and horse shows), live music, about two dozen wedding venues, dance halls, coffee shops, quaint shops, a nice library, the Pound House, Farmer's Market, the Dripping Springs pool, and more. We're about 15 miles from Wimberley, known for its shopping, art galleries, and restaurants along the river front.
Home Design and Amenities
The house, at 8x20 feet, is thoughtfully designed, well-appointed, and efficient. It has everything you need and expect for an enjoyable stay. It sleeps two people, with a queen-size bed in the loft, a washer/dryer, a four-foot bathtub, fully stocked kitchen, large refrigerator, microwave, gas stove, a desk, kitchen table, and a comfy couch.
Internet Access
Courtney's Getaway offers free, encrypted WIFI, two Roku RVs, HDMI cables, and 5G phone access from the nearby cell tower—perfect if you need to work remotely.
Pets
Since Cedar Grove is also a horse motel, you can obviously bring your horse. See Stabling. We allow one dog small or medium-sized dog in the house as long as it stays in the kennel (available on request), or in the enclosed horse stall when you're not there. We do not allow cats in the house. All pets are allowed if contained in your horse trailer. Dogs should remain on a leash.
Interior

Where's the house?
The house, shown in yellow, is located on the far west side of the property. The horse pastures are south of the gate. The main house is located on the east side of the property.
Desk and Roku TV
The fold-down desk allows you to link your laptop to the Roku TV using one of the HDMI cables provided, or just watch TV from the couch. The house has its own WIFI network and modem. The TV has Amazon Prime and Apple set up.
Fire Pit
There are three outdoor sitting areas you can use—the house's front porch, the fire pit located between the tiny house and main house, and the gazebo out by the arena.
Propane Grill
The propane grill is beside the deck, and under a spotlight for evening grilling, with utensils provided, and a ceramic serving dish in the kitchen.
Fully furnished kitchen
The kitchen is stocked with pots and pans, cooking utensils, silverware, baking sheets, cupcake pans, aluminum foil, an apron, napkins, coffee, tea, coffee filters, a mini wafflemaker, hand mixer, food scale, and more.
Bathroom
Towels, washrags, tissues, toilet paper, toothbrush holder, full-length mirror, hair dryer, ironing board, iron, and a makeup mirror are provided.
Washer/Dryer
Behind the full-length mirror is a stack washer/dryer which you might want to use for longer stays. You'll find laundry detergent underneath the bathroom sink.
Bathtub
A bathtub is unusual in a tiny house, but this house features a four-foot bathtub and a shower. The shower curtain has additional pockets for your bathing supplies, and there's a towel rack on the back wall.
Spices & Seasoning
You'll find basic spices, seasonings, sugar, popcorn, oil, vinegar, and tea in the cabinet beside the front door.
